Hey there friends! So it's been a hectic few days. I just haven't found the time to actually blog. But it's 2:50 am and I'm sitting in the preggo ward at my hospital. Not to worry. Not in labor I'm only 30 weeks along. Just a nasty uti that makes me feel like I'm going to pass out. Yuck! Anywho.
I had an appointment on Monday with my dr and I got to see my baby girl for the first time in a few months. Only she didn't feel like showing that pretty little mug of hers. But she is roughly a 3 lbs healthy girl. Only thing was low amniotic fluids. But not dangerously low. If I have her around 38 weeks that'd be ideal.
I also made some made-from-scratch brownies. I used a recipe I found on Pinterest. Only the recipe called for baking powder... I used soda, I checked first to see if I could do that. They were perfect except for they were a tad bitter. No worries though. I whipped up some home-made whip cream with heavy creamer and powdered sugar, and added some chocolate syrup. Yumm! Covered up my little mishap just fine. I did all this around 1am... I get a little restless around that time.
So recently I started "sampling"(I don't know if its a thing or not but if not I just made it something) it's kinda like couponing only a lot more fun because you are getting stuff for free! Granted they are only sample sizes but who doesn't love getting free stuff? Pretty much type in google (yes google because all other search engines pale in comparison, not an opinion. Fact.) free samples. Boom! A whole-lotta samples. I'll post my favorite in a link below. Also any products you love like bath and body works like their Facebook page because they are always giving stuff away. The other down side to sampling besides the miniature sized merch is the emails and phone calls. Some sites you have to put in your number. Depending on what it is if you really want it is it worth the 800 numbers ringing your phone? I say yes, you can always ignore them or some phones you can block numbers! As for the emails if you have an old account you don't use, use it if possible for all of the sample sites. They blow up your emails more then phone. Another option, create an account just for sites you know are going to spam you, if you haven't done that already. I will post a picture of some of the samples I have gotten, my "cherry popping" samples if you will. Came in a nice pretty box from proctor and gamble.
5:51 update from hospital
I have a bad uti, won't go into details but its yucky. They are keeping me through the day and tomorrow night most likely. I will go ahead and post this one and if there is anything changing I will post an "update through the hospital" post. I really miss my son.. :/ plus side free food and I'm not hooked up to a fetal monitor.
